Monsters VS. Aliens

Kyle and I took the boys to the IMAX theater on Sunday to see the new 3D movie, Monsters VS. Aliens and we had so much fun! Jack loved the movie and is still talking about it today, telling everyone he sees that he went to the BIG theater to see it and how cool it was. Here's Jack before the movie started, downstairs in the Texas History Museum trying on some Davy Crockett hats.
Scotty lasted through about 3/4 of the movie which is really good! He was really into it in the beginning, he looked so funny sitting in that big huge chair just glued to the screen as I held his 3D glasses on his tiny little head. The screen is sort of blurry without the glasses on so he sort of lost interest in the movie once he got sick of the glasses. Then his tomfoolery with our smuggled (healthy) snack bags lead to his removal from the theater, by me- our snack bag smuggling was not uncovered thankfully. But Scott and I ended up having fun wandering around the history museum while Kyle and Jack watched the end of the movie. Here's Scott in front of the giant Texas Lone Star and if you look closely in the pic on the right you can see the engraving on the wall, "God Bless Texas" which I love.

I also love the Texas carpet, classic.
