First Day of Kindergarten!!

Well, it's really here, the first day of school for our little Jacko! He insisted on the long sleeves today so I let him have it. He was very excited and said he was not nervous at all! Kyle and I both walked him in and got to see as much as the Pledge of Allegiance before we had to go.

He looked so big and grown up today. Here he is with his very own locker, which he put his lunch and back pack in all by himself!

We are so very proud of all that Jack has done so far and we can't wait to see what he accomplishes next! I hope he has a great first day!! We'll see how it all went at 2:45pm!

((Already goin' for the scissors. Haha!))

Central Park-et

Jack's been asking to go play at Central "Park-et" all week long, that's Central Market for those of you who know that these places consist of more than just an awesome playground. So I finally broke down and made the long trek south to appease him this morning. It was def worth it, he, Scott and Madilynn really had a blast!
My little Model, Scotty Pants.
Our favorite thing to do, at all the playgrounds we frequent, is try to get the best Jumping-Off-Stuff Picture. This requires many, many attempts before we get photographer and jumper in sync but its a great use of energy for these little wild animals!!
Double Jump Off, that's some serious synchronization right there!

Rock.. Ducks.. Sand..

The kids love climbing this Rock at the Y, by the lake...
..they love jumping off the Rock most of all..
..but the Y summer camp kids were just breaking for lunch and headed our way...
..and soon, they over took the Rock..
..so we headed for the ducks..
..we fed, we frolicked..

Haha! Ducks make us Giddy!
Sand Boxes make us Competitive...
..Madi's a Pro...
..this is what we call Teamwork..
..she's what we call strong competition..
..and that's what we call a good day!

Chris and Michelle's Wedding!!

Chris and Michelle tied the knot on July 10th and we had so so much fun celebrating with them! Michelle looked absolutely beautiful, of course. All of us girls got our hair and makeup done at the Mansion downtown in Austin and it was so beautiful there, we had to take some shots of Michelle pre-wedding!
We had so much fun at the Mansion, but it was time to get the show on the road!

The ceremony went off without a hitch and Michelle and Chris are now Mr. and Mrs. Hodgkinson!!

And did somebody say Pizza? Michelle and Chris opted for Austin's Pizza for their wedding menu and, as you can see, we bridesmaids couldn't have been happier! In fact, we were so happy when we saw the pizza guy pull up in his rainbow ride with our feast, we had to take a picture with him!

We had so much fun celebrating all weekend long, thanks for including us and Congrats, Hodgkinson's!!

Chris and Michelle's Rehearsal Dinner

The photos from Chris and Michelle's Rehearsal Dinner were all just too funny to me and I couldn't bare to cut out any of them, so I had to just do a slide show of them all! It was quite a dinner! We must have rearranged the tables and chairs at least 5 times to accommodate and then better accommodate our large group, Kyle famously mistook the sugar dispenser for salt and was eating sugared chips all night, Faith had to pick her dog, London, up from doggy daycare and finagle a way to get her into the restaurant, it was all just hilarious to say the least. I hope y'all enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed the event!

Chris and Michelle's Rehearsal

I can't believe how well the ceremony went considering the groomsmen, my fellow bridesmaids and I spent more time planning a post-vows beer toss and toast that ended up being veto-ed pretty quick by the bride and groom, than we did rehearsing what we were supposed to do the day of the nuptials. I think I'm still trying to talk everyone into at least the beer toss in the photo below, because I can't think of any other reason Faith and Michelle would ever be double fisting at such a classy event. We were trying it out but in the end, the small chance of broken beer bottles didn't seem worth it.

We would have been totally lost had it not been for the always helpful and super talented Kristen, she rocked it out.

I find Michelle's mom to be absolutely hilarious. She cracks me up.

This is how we walk...
... the ladies need some work.

~*~4th of July~*~

We had a lot of fun at our low-key 4th of July celebration. We headed out to Manor for some cheap fireworks and then bombarded Chris and Michelle's quiet neighborhood with some fairly harmless fire crackers. Kyle and the boys did some Roman Candles and some Black Cats and we all had to have a few Sparklers of course! Luckily Chris and Michelle's neighbors had lots more larger and louder fireWORKS than we did, so we weren't too worried about getting in trouble for our little guys haha! The boys had fun and are now just as obsessed with firecrackers of all sorts and varieties as their dear ol' dad is, so that's... terrifying.

Fun with Sparklers!

Bummin' off the lil' guy.

This was as big as they got, no too too terrifying, I guess.
