Weekend in Houston

Jack's Tiny Big Kid Bike

Aunt Carrie found Jack this awesome little bike, which Jack calls his "Blue Motorcycle". He hasn't quite mastered this one, as this video will show, but he's really close. Once you help him onto the bike he does pretty well with the pedalling but it's going to take a bit more practice to master the art of pedalling and steering at the same time. We're getting there though!

Happy 25th Birthday, Kyle!

Kyle's 25th Birthday was on Wednesday and we celebrated with a few gifts, which Jack was happy to help open, and then Kyle and I went out for sushi while Nana Catherine watched the boys. The birthday celebrations will continue through the weekend when we head out to Houston on Saturday to see the Knights and introduce Nana Marcille to Mr. Scott!

Scott's keeping a close eye on Jack. Jack's been known to sit on Scott from time to time, it's all accidental of course, but Scott is noticably cautious as a result. One day, I'm sure, Jack will be looking out for his little brother, but these days, Scott's looking out for him!

After an afternoon of helping mom clean the whole house, a very deserving Jack got a brand new train set from Grandpa Bill! It was meant for Christmas but was saved for a special day due to the Christmas presents over load of 2007. Jack was totally thrilled! Thanks, Grandpa Bill!

Grandpa Bill also sent Scott a brand new crib!

Scott's New Toy- Thanks, Nonna!

Nonna Connie sent Scott a brand new Floor Gym today and as soon as we had it out of the box, Scott was playing! He seems to really like it alot! Thanks Nonna!!

The camera didn't do the best job of capturing the lights, despite Jack's greatest efforts. He jumped around for hours last night and then he slept with his shoes after we finally wrestled them off of his feet!

Jack's New Shoes

This video is pretty dark, but you can really see the coolest feature of Jack's New Shoes- the lights! I took Jack out for a little Mommy and Me time yesterday, we had a blast. First we went to Starbucks where Jack had some organic chocolate milk and I had a Double Chocolate Chip Frap and we spoke at length of the day's events. Then we headed off for some shoe shopping. He picked these shoes out all by himself and he absolutely loves them. It was a great little afternoon.
