After much trial and error, Scott has figured out exactly how to get the dogs to approach him. He has found that food is the best way to lure the dogs but when you don't have food, all you have to do is pretend you do. Scott will bend down and pretend to pick up something very small off the ground and with his index finger and thumb pinched tightly together he will then extend his hand to the dogs and they come running. This is what he's doing in all these pics, there is no food involved, just tightly clinched fingers and the belief of food. It gets the dogs everytime and I think it's absolutely genius.

What - that is crazy! He's a crafty little guy. I can't wait to see y'all and the kids in Houston. I made the mistake of telling LK that we were visiting soon. Now every few days she declares, "today we go the airplane, see Uncle Kyle, see Ash-ee, see Jack, see baby Scott...." and it always takes awhile to explain the concept of later. :)
dyk...yr uncle clopha had 5 pychiatrists study him in 3rd grade cuz he wud consistently do bizarre, advanced things like this that baffled his teachers...verdict...near genius...fyi.
I can't wait for Scott and Lily Kate to interact because I have a feeling he is going to be her new favorite, there are a lot of similarities between the two of them so I'm really looking foward to the wedding! And Jack has been doing the same thing since Easter, "Moo-oom!! When are we going to go see the marrying?" is what he keeps asking, then he tells me, "And you promised right, mom? Lil' Katie and Charyotte are gonna be there, right mom? You promised!" We can't wait!
And Mom, did YOU know I have scored 5pts from genius on every IQ test I've ever taken or been given? Every single one, the ones Dad had the professional come to the house and give us as kids, the ones I took in college, even one I took once that was on a TV game show, always the same score 5pts away from genius. So close and yet so far away. Haha. We should have the boys tested but Kyle doesn't 'believe' in IQ's, go figure! hahaha!
In public school, I think they give them an IQ test around 3rd grade if you can wait that long. But the achievement tests given in all grades can give some valuable info also.
